Step Count Data (HealthKit)
We read your daily step count from Apple HealthKit
This data is used solely to track your walking progress and unlock screen time rewards
We do NOT write any data to HealthKit
Step data never leaves your device
Screen Time Data (Family Controls)
We access Screen Time to apply and remove app restrictions based on your walking milestones
You choose which apps to limit - we only restrict apps you explicitly select
This data is processed entirely on your device
App Settings
Your preferences (step goals, milestone settings, selected apps) are stored locally on your device
No account creation is required
Data Storage All data is stored locally on your iPhone. StepTok does not have servers, cloud storage, or online databases. Your information never leaves your device. Data Sharing We do NOT:
Sell your data to third parties
Share your data with advertisers
Send your data to external servers
Use third-party analytics services
Track your location
Third-Party Services StepTok does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks. Children's Privacy StepTok is designed for personal self-discipline use and is not intended for parental monitoring of children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Data Deletion To delete all StepTok data:
Delete the app from your iPhone
All locally stored data will be removed automatically
To revoke HealthKit access:
Go to Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices
Select StepTok and remove access
To revoke Screen Time access:
Go to Settings > Screen Time > App & Website Activity
Remove StepTok's access
